This colorimeter is a value for money instrument that has been designed for use in schools and colleges. It is compact, lightweight and ergonomically designed to withstand student use! Samples can be measured in either standard or semi micro 10mm pathlength cuvettes, or in 16mm diameter test tubes. The choice of absorbance or percentage transmission read out allows explanation of the fundamentals of colorimetry. The integral Kinetics mode permits the study of rates of reaction and results can be output to PC, chart recorder or printer. The eight filters are held in an integral filter wheel preventing any accidental loss or damage, however they can be removed if required. With no lid needed, this robust instrument is easy to use, clean and store. There is a drain hole at the bottom of the cell compartment so that spillages do not affect the instrument.
